Investor pitch, brand development + logo project

OPPORTUNITY:

Vessyll, a sustainable energy storage start up, reached out to us because they needed help developing a winning pitch deck that can land them investor funding and place in investor pitch competitions. After our initial work together and them winning 1st and 2nd place in both investor competitions, they came back to us to go through a re-brand and logo project.

Plan:

Pitch Decks:

Since they didn’t have a full brand baked out, we used with what branding they had while also incorporating imagery and additional colors in their pitch to ensure it looked like a full brand when pitching investors without the brand being unrecognizable.

Utilizing our knowledge of pitching to investors in the past, we utilized our Pitch Framework and build out a custom pitch deck that catered to their target investors. Through this, they were able to raise capital, and win 1st and 2nd place in their pitch competitions.

Logo + brand development:

Due to the positive response they received from industry peers and investors, they came back to us to start the brand development process. They needed to approach this work in phases, given their budgetary constraints, so we developed a custom proposal to fit their needs.

We conducted research to formulate visual values, color palette, brand key words, mood board imagery, typography and more.

Outcome:

We developed a logo and branding elements, including the color palette, mood board imagery, and typography. Upon approval, we continued into the next phases of work including brand guidelines, website strategy and more. It allowed them to move forward with building signage and more! 2025 will be a great year for Vessyll!
